Banding: 5/6
Hourly Rate: Between £19 to £25 per hour
Working hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours 8am to 530pm
Payment Method: Direct Engagement
Contract Type: Locum
Contract Length: 3 months minimum
Job Summary:
- This post would suit somebody with a hospital pharmacy background, or with community pharmacy experience wishing to make a change into the hospital environment.
- Further training and development will be provided - hospital experience is not essential.
- You must have successfully completed the relevant training and be registered with The General Pharmaceutical Council as a pharmacy technician.
- You should have experience in working as a qualified pharmacy technician, good communication and experience of using computer systems for dispensing, stock control and word processing.
- You will gain experience with hospital-only medicines and close working with multi-disciplinary teams.
Essential Candidate Criteria:
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services, BTEC Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with GPhC
- Experience in Hospital or community setting
- Qualified Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician
- Right to work in the UK
