Hourly Rate: Band 5 £21.36 / Band 6 £26.44 per hour
Working hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours (will consider 4 days a week)

Job Summary:
- Responsible for assisting the Lead Technician in the day to day running of the Aseptic
Services Unit
To organise the safe and efficient production of aseptically prepared products.
- Responsible for co-ordinating the preparation of aseptically prepared medicines under Section 10 exemption of the Medicines Act 1968
- Performs regular documented observations of staff within the cleanroom, ensuring that they are adhering to GMP and comportment standards.
- Is able to aseptically prepare products in a safe and cost-effective manner. Using complex manipulation techniques to reconstitute hazardous agents safely with a high degree of accuracy. (Manipulates using syringes, needles and medical devices in cleanroom cabinets).
- Maintains broth test compliance and participates in production schedules as necessary.
Essential Candidate Criteria:
- BTEC/NVQ 3 in Pharmaceutical Service
- Registered as a practicing pharmacy technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council
- Right to work in the UK
- Post qualification experience as a technician or Aseptic Science Manufacturing Technician in hospital pharmacy and experience as an Aseptically trained technician.
- Good working knowledge of safe dispensing and aseptic practices.
