Job Summary:
| • Be responsible for the Clinical and managerial responsibilities for Haematology, Oncology and Technical Services. • Must be competent in clinical screening and checking of Clinical Oncology prescriptions and have some management experience as well as a good understanding of GMP • Have experience of working within NHS environment and some knowledge of funding cancer drugs • Experience of writing SOPs and running an Aseptic unit would be desirable Trust values Putting patients first E Responsive to patients and staff E Open and honest E Unfailingly kind E Determined to develop E Education and qualifications Vocational Master’s Degree in Pharmacy (+ completion of pre-registration training) E Registered as a practicing pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council E Certificate in Pharmacy Practice or JBP Postgraduate Certificate in General Pharmacy Practice or equivalent training / experience E BOPA passport E Skills and knowledge Meet set targets E Meet expected levels of practice as defined by others E Influences junior medical staff E Organisation and prioritisation of clinical work E Understanding and implementation of Trust and local priorities E Problem solving and risk assessment E |

- Registered as a practicing Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council
