Job Details:
Job Title: Responsible Pharmacist
Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience and negotiable) + a monthly paid bonus scheme
Contract Type: Permanent
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm with a 1 hour lunch break. Some Saturday’s from 9am – 12.30pm
Job Summary:
As a Responsible Pharmacist, you'll be responsible for dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medicines that help people to maintain and improve their lives, in a cost-effective way. You will be responsible for constantly monitoring the quality, safety, and use of medicines, which requires a high level of interaction with patients, providing advice and information about the use of medicines and medical appliances.
As a Community Pharmacist, you will work alongside Pharmacy Technicians and Dispensing Assistants to deliver the pharmacy service including:
In addition to NHS prescriptions and services investing in automation technologies and introducing new private clinical services via new releases of the Pharm digital product.
As a Responsible Pharmacist you will be expected to:
• Managing, supervising, educating and training pharmacy support staff in new private clinical services and NHS services
• A willingness to take on a high level of responsibility.
Essential Criteria:
- Registered with the GPhC
- Masters degree in pharmacy (MPharm)
- Capable of checking in a 6k+ (min pcm) dispensed item pharmacy
- Experience in capturing & performing hypertension service
- Experience in NMS capture & delivery
- Building good relationships with GP in order to develop the CPCS capability for the pharmacy
