Job Summary
- Helping patients and the public, assessing their conditions and making decisions about which medication best suits the scenario, if applicable.
- Dispensing of prescription and over-the-counter medicines to the public.
- Reviewing prescriptions from doctors to ensure accuracy and suitability for the patient, including the dosage, and ingredients required, correctly and safely labelled.
- Ideally looking for 5 years experience since qualifying but will consider 3-4 years experience with good references.
- Must have knowledge in confidently ordering stock, maintaining the dispensary, and able to work independently.
- Items dispensed is between 5500 to 6000 per month.
- PRM system used is RX web.
Essential Candidate Criteria:
- Masters In Pharmacy (Mpharm)
- GPHC registered as a Pharmacist
- Right to work in the UK
- Must have experience in ordering stock
- Must have experience in managing staff
- Desired 2+ years post qualified experience
