Location: Roehampton
Salary: Sessional Salary £50-£65 per session
Hours: Minimum of 5 hours per week
Contract: Sessional
The role:
They are looking to recruit a CBT therapist to join their friendly, well-established and experienced therapy team. The successful applicant will be highly motivated, flexible, and an excellent team-player. Strong communication skills and the ability to work within an MDT is essential. This role is unique in that it offers you the opportunity to work across multiple service lines whilst maintaining a reasonable and manageable case load tailored to your strengths as well as the areas you wish to grow in.
Experience:
Successful candidate is likely to demonstrate the following:
- To work closely with relevant other professionals as appropriate.
- To communicate in a skilled and sensitive manner, information concerns the assessment, formulation and treatment plans to clients.
- To undertake risk assessment and risk management of service users.
- To provide CBT based assessment, formulation and treatment for people experiencing mental health difficulties.
- Undertaking and managing a clinical caseload in accordance with operational policy.
- Attend monthly clinical supervision to develop knowledge, skills, and promote access to clinical excellence.
- High levels of clinical governance are expected, including all documentation as required by the service.
Successful candidate qualities:
- Assessed experience of working as a qualified CBT therapist or experience of working in mental health delivering CBT treatment.
- Able to deliver interventions to a wide range of clients
