Job Summary
- Within your professional boundaries you will assess, diagnose and provide advice, care and management to patients presenting with undiagnosed or undifferentiated illness via telephone consultations, or face to face assessments for patients requiring home visits.
- Working in this role you will demonstrate clinical reasoning, critical thinking and autonomous practice, supported by GP colleagues in the out of hours setting.
- Undertake face to face and telephone triage consultations
- Interpret pathology/radiology results/reports
- Prescribe and review medication
- Plan, implement and evaluate an effective management plan for the patient
- You will be an experienced APNP who is able to deliver quality individualised care to our patients with a high level of autonomy underpinned by the four pillars of Clinical practice, leadership and management, education and research.
- You will have a master’s in advanced clinical and able to undertake comprehensive assessments, diagnose, plan and prescribe medication.
- You will have experience of working in the acute sector, urgent/emergency services environment, or out of hours services at a senior level and undertake comprehensive face to face clinical examination via telephone consultations and face to face individual reviews.
Shift Times
- Fri – Wavertree Triage 18.30-23.00, 4.5 hours
- Sat – Wavertree triage 09.00-14.00, 5.0 hours
- Sat – Wavertree triage 14.00-18.00, 4.0 hours
- Sun – Wavertree triage 09.00-13.00, 4.0 hours
- Sun – Wavertree triage 14.00-19.00, 5.0 hours
Essential Candidate Criteria:
- Full NMC Registration with no restrictions
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice
- Non-Medical Prescriber – V300
- Clinical Examination and Diagnostics Level 7
- Experience of working in urgent care and/or primary care
