Job Role

As our Clinical Lead for the UK service you will be responsible for managing a team of clinicians and work alongside our business development team to ensure our patients with up to date practices, a quality experience as safely and securely as possible. Responsibilities also include;

  • The ADHD Clinical Service Lead will support the management and other teams to develop pathways for the ADHD Clinical Services.
  • The ADHD Clinical Service Lead will sign off clinical pathways, clinical content and other relevant material within their competency, ensuring it is meeting the regulatory requirements and adhere to local Clinical Guidance wherever possible.
  • Any off-framework prescribing is justified, safe and clinically effective.
  • The ADHD Clinical Service Lead will be responsible for the development and updating of clinical protocols.
  • The ADHD Clinical Service Lead will ensure all clinical protocols are in line with local and national guidelines and legislation.
  • The ADHD Clinical Service Lead will be prescribing once the service has been launched
  • The ADHD Clinical Service Lead will support the recruitment of additional clinicians for the service as an when required.
  • The ADHD Clinical Service Lead will support any legislative and other requirements to ensure a safe and effective service is being provided.

Experience: 

Successful candidate is likely to demonstrate the following:

  • Strong experience in ADHD Assessment/Diagnosis.
  • Professional registration required.
  • Must be registered and qualified to work in the United Kingdom

Essential Qualifications

  • Qualified with current UK registration with the NMC.
  • An ADHD consultant with a special interest in ADHD services
  • Expert level understanding of pharmaceutical treatment options for ADHD.
  • V300 Prescribing Qualification

Key Competencies

  • Strong background in ADHD assessment and diagnosis.
  • Knowledge of psycho-social and psycho-educational interventions.
  • Proficiency in relevant legislation and developments in ADHD service provisions.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage a designated portion of patients independently.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Meets
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with service users, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Have Integrity, be honest and uphold ethical standards
  • Be Reliable, responsible, and committed to fulfilling obligations.
  • Have an attention to detail, ensuring patient safety and delivering excellence.
  • Confidence based on professional competence and humility.
  • Be capable of managing the demands of healthcare for the ADHD patient group.
